Rodeway Inn at Nevada State Capitol

I'm marking all flawless performance, however this comes with a presumptive caveat. That you know how to be able to interact with the surroundings, the staff and that which is available at the times of day when is available. If you know how to do this, everything that you need or could want is in a very short Stone's throw as the crow flies and otherwise. The staff themselves, are kind, amazing, compassionate and hilariously. Funny if you can get a conversation in that they're able to speak freely.

Edit: 2/7/2024 - drove into the parking lot to see if they had any rooms, it looks like they turned it into a low income housing. We didn’t even try to check in. They had vacancy lights on, but I did not feel comfortable driving through the parking lot this time to even stop. Great clean inviting place to stay, I stayed here because my parents live in Carson City and needed help. So I came down to visit and booked at the Rodeway inn, I have to say I was very impressed with my value and my level of customer service. I would encourage people to stay here to keep this small business running. The room had a mini frig, microwave which is hard to find both in hotel these days. I will definitely being staying on returning visits.

This is my go to place every time I come to Carson. No matter what time or who is at the front desk I always get the kindest, helpful, caring, considerate help from all the staff. It's rare you find anyone that only charges a $10 pet fee, a $50 deposit, and they take CASH?! It's great. The rooms may be a LITTLE outdated but I swear I sleep the best in these beds. The king beds are where it's at. My puppy loves it. The bath tubs are DEEP for nice, relaxing bubble baths. It's not far from the freeways, fast food, gas stations, grocery stores, bars and liquor stores, etc. But the staff is the real winner here - the owners are fantastic and understanding (which is rare in itself).. Just be responsible, reliable, honest, and trustworthy and they will help you. Plus the front desk staff!!! Chris (day) and Abla (night) are absolutely fantastic!! And mind you... Abla is fairly new here and she is KILLIN it. They are always warm and welcoming but still very responsible and firm. Alright, I'm done yapping but I just love this place and it bothers me to see negative FAKE reviews from one disgruntled guest. If you're ever in Carson and need a place to stay where they treat you like a FRIEND not a CUSTOMER -- come to Rodeway.

This is a two-star hotel, the pool at this time is under repair and if you have been paying attention you know that I have been shortages and so they don't have the parts to fix it this summer of 2023 it's unfortunate but not the end of the world. A great deal for the price I paid. If you're extremely picky about how soft your bed is this is not as soft as something like a four star hotel. The bathroom fan light was very noisy, I did not have the opportunity to use the shower tub. The room I had had smell from having people who used cigarettes in it at some point in the past, you can't get rid of that kind of smell without total revamp. It's unfortunate that people smoke in and non-smoking rooms. It even happened to me at the silver legacy once in Reno It was a decent stay, it's what you expect from a two star hotel. I believe they said they were in the process of renovation so they may get some extra stars pretty soon ⭐⭐⭐

Ive done weekly rooms here and they are very accommodating and kind staff! Affordable for weekly and pet friendly, especially compared to others in town. Good location downtown and stores, on the North side of Carson. I know they care about cleaniness and offering local help, the staff is nonprejudice and respectful and kind to anyone that comes in.

Abby at the front desk saved the night for my girlfriend and I who were out of luck finding a place to stay the same night. It seemed like every place was booked in the area, but after making some phone calls around 3-4am we were able to get booked here and were even accomodated a late checkout time to make up for it. Cannot thank her and the crew here enough for going above and beyond to ensure we had a place to stay!

It was great for what I paid! Needed a place close to the hospital and this was a minute away!

We only spent one night here but check was great quick easy and curtious. The rooms are good for the price. And the location is great close to everything and seems safe and well lit. I would probably give them 3.5 stars for cleanliness. But overall we were pleased with the value and would stay again.
